KATHMANDU, April 20: The meeting of the Legislature-Meeting scheduled for Thursday, has been adjourned till April 23, Sunday, due to the lack of quorum.
The meeting of the house was scheduled to endorse a bill for allowing the Members of Parliament (MPs) to register the amendment clauses on the revised constitution amendment bill.

However, Prem Suwal of Nepal Workers and Peasant Party (NWPP) demanded the Speaker to count the number of MPs before the proposal was endorsed. Only 90 MPs were present in the meeting.
Following the absence of the MPs, the Speaker adjourned the meeting till Sunday. One fourth of the total members are mandatorily needed to take any decision from the House meeting.
