The business of the Legislature-Parliament has been made public, according to which it will first take up the opposition notice to the government´s bill on extending the term of the Constituent Assembly by a year. The business advisory also lists the bill for extension by the law minister. [break]
The term of the CA is expiring Friday midnight. The meeting pf the parliament was to begin at 8 a.m.
The development comes even as women lawmakers have been shouting slogans for consensus inside the House for over an hour now.
The top leaders of the three parties -- the UCPN (Maoist), the Nepali Congress and the CPN-UML -- are yet to sign any deal.
