Irrigation Minister Bal Krishna Khand inaugurated the tournament organized by Rupandehi District Football Association. Altogether 12 teams -- 11 Nepali and one from Bangladesh -- are competing for the cup.
Out of the estimated cost of Rs 2.5 million, the winners will receive Rs 155,555, while the runners-up will get Rs 77,777. The best player, highest goal scorer and the best goalkeeper will also get Rs 5,555 each.
