HoR passes Appropriation Bill, 2022

KATHMANDU, June 16: A meeting of the House of Representatives (HoR) on Thursday passed the Appropriation Bill, 2022.


The bill proposed by Minister for Finance, Janardan Sharma was endorsed by the HoR meeting while the Members of Parliament from CPN-UML boycotted the meeting.

The Appropriation Bill passed by the HoR will now be forwarded to the National Assembly. Once the bill is approved by the upper house, it will come into force, allowing the government to spend the money allocated in the country’s annual budget.
