HoR meeting set for 2 PM today

KATHMANDU, May 19: The meeting of the House of Representatives (HoR) will be held at two o'clock in the afternoon today. 

According to the parliament secretariat, the meeting scheduled to be held at 11 AM today has been postponed to 2 PM. 

The task force formed to finalize the mandate of the parliamentary probe committee to investigate the alleged involvement of Home Minister Rabi Lamichhane in the misappropriation of cooperative funds has continued discussions since morning, but has not been able to reach a consensus. The meeting of the HoR has been postponed after there was no consensus in the task force. 

The task force formed under the leadership of UML leader and Law Minister Padam Giri has Jiban Pariyar of the Nepali Congress, Mahesh Bertaula of the UML and Shishir Khanal of the Rashtriya Swatantra Party as members.
