Officials at MoHA said the CDOs sent on deputation on Friday include Kailash Nath Kharel (Baglung), Kamal Raj Dhakal (Gulmi), Pralhad Pokharel (Dolakha), Bishnu Prasad Pokharel (Dhading), Shankar Hari Acharya (Humla), Sagar Mani Pathak (Arghakhanchi), Kali Prasad Parajuli (Terhathum) Gyan Prasad Dhakal (Manang), Ganesh Prasad Bhattarai (Achham) and Bhabishwar Pandey (Rukum).
Under Secretaries Krishna Bahadur Katuwal (Darchula), Janak Raj Regmi (Mustang) Bal Bhadra Giri (Mugu), Luk Bahadur Chhetri (Baitadi), Umesh Kumar Dhakal (Parbat), Bishnu Bahadur Thapa (Jumla), Sagar Mani Parajuli (Dadeldhura), Dhruba Raj Joshi (Bajura), Shrawan Kumar Timisina (Dolpa) and Kishor Kumar Chaudhari (Kalikot) are among those transferred as CDOs.
The government´s decision comes in the wake of Election Commission (EC) preparing to enforce election code of conduct 120 days prior to the fresh constituent assembly election scheduled for November 19. The government cannot make any transfers or other bureaucratic reshuffle that may influence the election process once the election code of conduct is enforced.
