KATHMANDU, June 11: The newly-appointed Home Minister Khagaraj Adhikari has directed all officials concerned to make the service delivery of home administration efficient and effective.
Giving instructions to the officials after assuming his office as Home Minister on Thursday, Minister Adhikari said that all bodies under the ministry’s jurisdiction should provide round the clock services according to the nature of their work.

Minister Adhikari instructed the ministry to ensure smooth and quick delivery of services. He warned of taking action if any dilly-dallying is reported in service delivery.
A circular has been issued in all 77 district administration offices on Thursday as per the instructions of the Home Minister. He has instructed his subordinates to guarantee efficient administration.
Minister Adhikari maintained that all staff and security personnel should be on duty 24 hours a day and asked them not to avoid work using working hours as an excuse.
Minister Adhikari also instructed police officers to strengthen the peace and security situation in the country. Stressing on the need to make Nepal's border security effective, Minister Adhikari also expressed his commitment to secure the land.
