Pasa Puchah Guthi UK (PPGUK) , London observed the ‘Holi Punhi’ at Elthorne Park and Nepal Authentic Dining Restaurant on Saturday. According to a press statement released by PPGUK, this was the first time PPGUK London celebrated Holi Punhi with its members. Around 40 Guthi members were present at the celebration, which ran between 1pm-4pm, on the day.

It was also the first face to face event hosted by PPGUK London after the coronavirus pandemic. The event began a welcome speech by President of PPGUK London, Rukmani Manandhar. Pasa Puchah Guthi UK, Board Of Trustees (BOT) President, Ojesh Singh, then played ‘Dhimay’ traditional musical instrument to enliven the occasion. All members then started to exchange their greetings and exchange colors between each other. After celebrating Holi at the park, all the members made their way to Nepal Authentic Dining Restaurant. Members were then served with authentic newah cuisine - 'Samaye Baji' followed by Jeri.
Before concluding the event Vice President of Guthi, Sandeep Shrestha invited all members present, to the next event 'Newah Muna' which is being held on 10th of April at Asian Community Centre, Plumstead, London. Shrestha then concluded the program with a vote of thanks to all.
