Speaking at a weekly press briefing at the Koteswor-based party headquarters on Saturday, Sapkota said that the Constituent Assembly (CA) seats under the Proportional Representation system can be increased as demanded by the disgruntled parties if they are ready to take part in the forthcoming CA elections.
“We believe that the HLPC has to be reshuffled and the top leaders of the disgruntled parties like Mohan Baidya, Upendra Yadav and Ashok Rai and others can be included there,” Sapkota said.
Sapkota said that the cabinet should be expanded after those leaders become part of the HLPC. Identity-based federalism, constitution from the fresh CA and constitution with federalism are the party’s major agendas in the forthcoming CA elections, Sapkota said.
