Big fairs are organized in the Temple during Teej, Shivarattri, Ram Nawami, Bala Chathurdasi, Krishna Janmastati and Dashain festivals, said Krishna Pandey, Chairperson of the Committee.

Pandey admitted that the temple has been overshadowed in lack of publicity. Hence, the committee has put in place some promotional events to be executed before the upcoming Dashain festival.

It is believed that the devotees who pay obeisance in the temple are granted their wishes by the Devi (female Goddess).

Chandraman Shrestha, chairperson of Chhatradev rural municipality, reaffirmed that they would take forward the management of the temple more effectively as the temple stands as the identity not only for Chhatradev rural municipality but also the entire district.
