ARGHAKHANCHI, Sept 23: Arguably the largest statue of Goddess in Asia has been installed at Argha Goddess Temple in Arghakhanchi district.
Sandhikharka Municipality installed the 21-feet tall sculpture of the Goddess at Argha Goddess Temple located at Sandhikharka Municipality-9, said engineer of the Municipality, Hari Bohara.
The largest idol of Goddess was installed with an objective of attracting tourists visiting Lumbini as well as those visiting the religious site of Arghakhanchi, Supa Deurali.

Former Mayor of Sandhikharka Municipality, Kamal Prasad Bhusal, took the initiative to install this statue.
Mayor of the municipality, Krishna Prasad Shrestha, shared that the municipality installed the largest idol of Asia with an objective of bringing in tourists visiting Lumbini, Resunga of Gulmi and Sworgadwari of Pyuthan in Arghakhanchi.
With this, the road linking to the temple is being blacktopped at the initiative of the municipality.
