Himal editor's vehicle vandalized

KATHMANDU, June 16: Maoist students vandalized a vehicle carrying the editor of Himal Khabarpatrika, Kiran Nepal, Ramji Dahal, secretary of Federation of Nepali Journalists, in Nepalgunj, according to himalkhabar.com.



The students stormed the vehicle at Dhamboji Chowk as they were preparing to travel to Doti, said the website. The students also confiscated the key of the rented vehicle with registration number Bhe 1 Cha 801. Himal Khabarpatrika publisher Kanak Mani Dixit said Nepal and Dahal are safe.
