KATHMANDU, Oct 18: Him Electronics Pvt Ltd -- the authorized distributor of Samsung Electronics’ home appliances for Nepal -- on Monday handed over an SUHD TV to Bikram Prashad Shah, the first person to pre-book the Rs 370,000-Samsung SUHD TV, equipped with second-generation Quantum dot technology and introduced in Nepal for the first time.
According to a statement issued by the company, the SUHD TV was handed over to the Civil Homes, Tin Thana, Naikap-resident by Seema Golchha, a director at Him Electronics Pvt Ltd, amid a special ceremony organized at Samsung Digital Plaza, Durbar Marg, on Monday.
Shah had pre-booked the 55-inch SUHD TV between July 14, 2016 and September 15, 2016 and also received a Samsung Galaxy S7 and Samsung Gear VR -- together worth Rs 88,900 -- as a gift. For the Dashain and Tihar festivals Samsung is offering a special rate on SUHD TVs. The offer is valid till November 15.
