Lawmakers and entrepreneurs have mounted pressure on police to nab the murderers of the chairman of Radio Tulsipur FM, who was shot dead four days ago, at the earliest.
Vice Chairperson of Constituent Assembly (CA) Purna Kumari Subedi on Sunday paid a visit to the bereaved family of the slain media entrepreneur. Subedi also met Chief District Officer (CDO) of Dang Rishiram Adhikari.
"I have asked CDO as well as district police chief to investigate the murder without fearing the pressure of any one," she told reporters after meeting the CDO.

Local transport entrepreneurs brought all vehicular movements in the district to a standstill, to pile pressure on the administration to bring the culprits to book. All FMs in Dang have continually been playing requiems condemning the killing.
In the meantime, CDO Adhikari on Sunday claimed that police investigation so far has exposed that the plan of killing Dhital was plotted not quite long ago. "The plan was hatched just a couple of days before the murder," Dhital said. Meanwhile, Nepal Press Union, Tanahun, condemned the murder.
The investigation team headed by Rana, according to police spokesperson Yadav Khanal, will not only probe into the murder but also assess the intensity of fear triggered by the recent increase in criminal activities in the mid-western region.
"We formed the team to tackle cases of murder, abduction, extortion and explosion that have increased recently," Khanal said. According to Khanal, the team has been assigned to make recommendations for effective mobilization of police personnel in mid-west after assessing the security situation.
