Heli sightseeing begins in Chautara

CHAUTARA, Nov 20: A 20-minute helicopter service has been started for sightseeing to the tourism sites of the district on the occasion of the First Sindhupalchowk Festival.



The service has been brought into operation from today until November 23. Two helicopters having five seats each have been operated and the charge of the service is Rs. 7,000 each.[break]



The Sindhupalchowk Festival Main Organizing Committee said it determines the cost for the 20-minute sightseeing flight from Chautara to different tourism areas including Helambu, Panchpokhari, Jugal mountain range, Bhairabkunda, Listimai, Tatopani, Kalinchowk and back to Chautara.



This service is also provided to those who desire to fly to Chautara from the Capital.



Similarly, Araniko, Barhabise, Helambu and Ama Hyolmo Transport Service Committees has announced 33 per cent discount on transport fares on the occasion.
