KATHMANDU, Sept 11: Nepal is under the influence of the monsoon with a monsoon low pressure line located south to the average place.
Currently, the weather is partly to generally cloudy across the country, with light to moderate rains occurring at a few places in Koshi and Gandaki provinces.
Heavy rainfall forecast in Bagmati, several provinces
The weather will remain partly to mostly cloudy across the country this afternoon with chances of light to moderate rain with thunder and lightning at some places in Koshi, Bagmati, Gandaki, Lumbini, Karnali and Sudurpaschim provinces and at a few places in Madhesh Province. There is a possibility of heavy rain at one or two places in Gandaki, Lumbini and Karnali provinces.
The weather will remain partly to mostly cloudy over the country tonight with chances of light to moderate rains with thunder and lightning at some places of Gandaki, Lumbini and Sudurpaschim provinces and at a few places in the rest of the provinces.
Likewise, heavy rain is also likely at one or two places in Koshi, Gandaki, Lumbini and Sudurpaschim provinces. There is also a possibility of very heavy rain at one or two places in Lumbini and Sudurpaschim provinces.
