MYAGDI, June 8: Financial assistance has been provided to a heart patient of Kalejabang of Raghuganga rural municipality-3 in Myagdi district.

Dhan Bahadur Sarki, 64, has got around Rs 150,000 financial support for his treatment. He is suffering from heart attack on May 27, underwent treatment at ICU of Pokhara-based Manipal Hospital for 18 days and has to undergo surgery.

A leader Ishwor Bhandari said that the financial aid was collected from donors in and outside the country. Financially poor Sarki family has appealed for the support.

The hospital has given Rs 100,000 discount in his treatment while the Gndaki State Social Development Ministry has provided financial support of Rs 100,000 to him.
