The arrest warrant was issued following a complaint by Jaiveer Deuba, son of Nepali Congress President Sher Bahadur Deuba. The complaint, filed with the Cyber Bureau, alleged that an unverified news report about his share purchase in Hilton Hotel was broadcast on a YouTube channel. Based on this complaint, police obtained the warrant last Tuesday and have since been searching for Pathak.
