Four held over smuggling arms and fake notes
MORANG, Oct. 1: Police arrested four youths, including two Indians, on Thursday evening on the charge of arms smuggling and dealing in fake currency.
The arrestees are Suraj Thapa and Manti Tamang of the Indian state of Asham, Ram Subba of Dharan and Indra Dev Shah of Metarwa at Biratnagar-22.
According to District Police Office, Morang, police seized a pistol, two magazines and five rounds of bullets from them.
Deputy Superintendent of Police Rewati Dhakal said they were arrested from the house of Indra Dev. Dhakal said the arrestees were under police investigation.
