KATHMANDU, July 19: Hajj pilgrims who participated in Mecca Madina Sharif in Saudi Arabia for Hajj have returned to Nepal.
This morning, they returned home through the Tribhuvan International Airport. This year, 1,200 people from Nepal went to Mecca for Hajj. They all returned home after completing the Hajj in Mecca and Madina. The members of the Hajj Committee who had gone complained that they were not treated well and not provided good food and accommodation as paid for.
Similarly, a Hajj pilgrim, Raja Ahmad Ansari, said that he did not get facilities as per his payment and was served dirty food in a dirty hotel. He expressed that even when the pilgrims who had gone from Nepal had gone missing, the Hajj representatives who had gone from Nepal did not even go in search of them. He said that the representatives of the Hajj Committee, who represented Nepal in the Hajj pilgrimage, defamed Nepal. They demanded action against all the culprits.
