DHANKUTA, June 26: Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Foreign Affairs, Kamal Thapa on Sunday warned that the groups involved in religious conversion will face action.
Speaking to journalists here, DPM Thapa said that such group involved in religious conversion by luring people of monetary and other benefits will face action in accordance to the constitution.
He, however, claimed that the constitution permits to promote Hindu religion.
Also the Chairman of Rastriya Prajatantra Party-Nepal (RPP-N), Thapa said that there was a need to launch a campaign to preserve Hindu religion. He added that they will not stop promoting Hindu religion bowing down to criticisms.
When asked on secularism, Minister Thapa said that the major political parties agreed on that to meet the obligations of foreign countries.
