Govt working to control dengue: Minister

CHITWAN, Oct 12: Health Minister Uma Kanta Chaudhary said the government will leave no stone unturned to control Dengue disease spreading in Chitwan and its adjoining places.



Chaudhary, who came for an on-site observation after Dengue disease started turning into an epidemic form, said to journalists on Tuesday.[break]



Stating that Dengue is slowly coming under control, he urged to the private sector to work with the government in the fight against dengue.



He also visited several hospitals of Chitwan where dengue patients are undergoing treatment and directed health officials to provide full treatment.



According to the latest statistics, 245 people are suffering from dengue in Chitwan.
