KATHMANDU, June 15: The government’s decision to provide holiday two days a week has been revoked from today. As the decision taken on May 15 has been scrapped, the old system of office hours and weekend has been implemented, according to the Ministry of Home Affairs.
Stating that the decision to provide two-day weekend is complicated and impractical, the government has revoked the decision to provide the holiday as well as open the office from 9AM to 5:30PM.

As this decision has been revoked, the office hours will be from 10AM to 5PM from today to October 1 and from 10AM to 3PM, five days a week, from October 2 to January 20. Government offices will be open from 10AM to 3PM on Fridays.
