KATHMANDU, Nov 19: Prime Minister Sushila Karki has said that anyone found guilty in connection with the Gen Z movement will face action including former Prime Minister KP Oli.
Karki further said that all she is waiting for is the final report by the Gauri Bahadur Karki-led probe commission to investigate physical and material loss during the Gen Z protest.

Speaking to Nagarik Frontline, a weekly program aired every Wednesday night by Nepal Republic Media, PM Karki said the government is closely reviewing all incidents that occurred on September 8 and 9 including the deaths of 72 Nepalis and damage worth billions to physical infrastructures.
Responding to a question from Nagarik Daily Editor-in-Chief Gunraj Luitel on whether there is pressure to arrest former PM Oli and then-Home Minister Ramesh Lekhak, PM Karki said the commission is currently conducting its investigation and the government will not take immediate action. She emphasized that the commission is operating independently and expressed the government’s commitment to arrest anyone including Oli and Lekhak found guilty based on the commission’s report.
Prime Minister Karki said the government’s primary focus for now remains to ensure full participation in the upcoming elections.
