KATHMANDU, Nov 9: The government has decided to take forward the construction of three cricket stadiums as a project of national pride.


While announcing the decision of the Cabinet meeting held on Thursday, Minister for Communication and Information Technology, Rekha Sharma, said that it has been decided to proceed with the construction of cricket stadia in Biratnagar of Morang and Mulpani of Kathmandu and Bharatpur Cricket Stadium in Chitwan as a project of national pride.

She said that the government has prioritized the construction of cricket stadia, considering Nepal’s potential in the sport of cricket.
