Govt. sets 15-day deadline to submit illegal weapons

KATHMANDU: Home Ministry on Wednesday asked all those possessing illegal weapons to submit them to nearest police stations within next 15 days. Issuing a press statement, the ministry has warned to take legal action against those failing abide by the call within the deadline. The move comes in the wake of growing instances of organized crimes with the help of small arms mainly in Tarai districts.
