KATHMANDU, August 5: The government has given an explanation to the chairman of the main opposition party, CPN-UML, KP Oli.

At a press conference held on Friday to publicize the decisions of the Cabinet, government spokesperson and Minister for Communications and Information Technology, Gyanendra Bahadur Karki refuted Oli's claims and said that the claims of spying and phone tapping were baseless. The minister also requested all not to fall into such confusion.

Earlier, Oli claimed that the government had deployed a spy in front of his house and tapped the people’s phones.
