KATHMANDU, May 2: President Ram Chandra Paudel has summoned the budget session of both houses of the federal parliament on May 10.
According to the Office of the President, President Paudel has summoned the budget session of both houses of the federal parliament in accordance with Article 93(1) of the Constitution of Nepal, 2015. The meeting will take place at 2 PM at the Federal Parliament Building in New Baneshwor.

The decision comes hours after a cabinet meeting held at the Office of the Prime Minister in Singha Durbar made a decision to recommend to President Paudel to summon the budget session on May 10.
Among other things, the government will unveil the budget for the new Fiscal Year 2024/25 during this session.
