A source informed that the team is taking necessary action against those involved in thrashing the dalits, said a source.

Meanwhile, during a press meet held on Wednesday, Dalit Nagarik Samaj complained that dalits would not have been beaten up had the police taken action against the assaulters.

Making its findings public at the press meet, member of the probe team shared that the attack was masterminded by a local Ram Chandra Raya. Ram Chandra was assisted by other locals including Bijaya Sah, Sakindra Pandit, Prasindra Yadav, Rameshowar Yadav, and Hridaya Narayan Yadav.
