BHAKTAPUR, July21: Minister for Information and Communications Sherdhan Rai has accused that attempts to bring down the government are being made to prevent the Nepal visit by Chinese President, Xi Jinping.
Speaking at Rafat Sanchar Club on Thursday, Minister Rai accused that the parties are trying to bring down the government fearing a transformation in the county, what he says will occur after the visit.

He claimed that the new alliance of the Nepali Congress (NC) and CPN (Maoist Center) was not favorable for Nepal and Nepalis.
He also claimed that the role of the Speaker was not fair. He argued that the ‘unfair’ role of the Speaker has resulted in disputes among the political parties.
Minister Rai added that the policies and programs brought by the government should be implemented ditto by the next government.
He claimed that the agreements between NC and CPN (Maoist Center) were done as per the interest of the foreign powers.
