KATHMANDU, Feb 22: The government on Monday decided to allow Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG) bottlers to sell fully-filled LPG cylinders (14.1 kg).

The Ministry of Commerce and Supplies overturned its earlier decision on half-filled cooking gas cylinders that was enforced after Indian blockade.

LPG bottlers had been constantly pressing the government to allow them to sell fully-filled cylinders.

“The decision to allow selling fully-filled LPG cylinders has been made after supply from India improved following end of the blockade, Joint-spokesperson at the ministry, Arjunraj Panta told Republica Online, “Fully-filled cylinders will be available in the market from Tuesday.”
