Govt allows 22 private hospitals to conduct PCR tests for foreign travel

KATHMANDU, June 19: The government has announced the name of 22 private hospitals whose PCR reports will be recognized while traveling abroad.

KATHMANDU, June 19: The government has announced the name of 22 private hospitals whose PCR reports will be recognized while traveling abroad.


With this, the Ministry of Health and Population has now provided recognition to PCR reports issued by all government PCR laboratories and 22 other laboratories of private hospitals for traveling to any foreign country.

PCR reports from Grande Hospital, Kantipur Hospital, Star Hospital, HAMS Hospital, Kathmandu Medical College, Nepal Mediciti Hospital, B & B Hospital, Alka Hospital, Kantipur Dental Hospital, Janamaitri Hospital, Nepal Medical College, Nepalgunj Medical College, Chitwan Medical College and Lumbini Medical college will be recognized by the government while traveling abroad.


Likewise, the government has also given recognition to National Medical College, Universal Medical College Bhairahawa, Manmohan Memorial Hospital, Kathmandu University Medical College, Nobel Medical College Biratnagar, Neuro-cardio Hospital Biratnagar, Birat Medical College and Leprosy Mission Nepal Hospital for the same.


Joint spokesperson for the MoHP , Samir Kumar Adhikari said that the government has given recognition to all the government PCR laboratories and 22 private laboratories for foreign travel.
