During his meeting with a delegation from the Federation of Nepalese Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FNCCI), the Prime Minister said the government was effortful to address problems of business community caused by adverse situation on Nepal-India borders.The FNCCI delegation headed by President Pashupati Murarka reached the PM's office at Singha Durbar taking up the problems confronting the business community due to obstructions in the supply of fuel and daily essentials into the country.
The government was taking all diplomatic measures to ease supplies in the country, said Murarka quoting the PM as saying.
Factories and industries are on the verge of closure due to the severe fuel crisis in the country. The country has so far incurred a loss of over Rs 25 billion (in revenue collection), the delegation apprised the PM, requesting the head of the government to arrange for compensation to sick industries.
