KATHMANDU, March 22: The government has announced its decision to reclaim the land of the then Bansbari Leather and Shoe Factory unlawfully occupied by the private sector.
The Department of Land Reform and Management (DOLRM), Dillibazar on Friday declared the nationalization of the land. The decision comes after recognizing that the land rightfully belongs to the government.

During a press briefing held on Friday, the department announced that 10 ropanis of land previously belonging to the Bansbari Leather and Shoe Factory will be transferred back to the government ownership.
