KATHMANDU, Feb 1: Ajit Narayan Singh Thapa has been arrested on charges of embezzling land along with industrialist Arun Chaudhary in connection with the Bansbari Leather and Shoe Factory land embezzlement case.
Thapa, who previously served as Chairman of Bansbari Leather Shoe Factory, was arrested from Battisputali.

CIB Spokesperson SP Nawaraj Adhikari informed Republica that he was arrested for necessary investigation in connection with the land-grab scam.
