"The person who is a convicted criminal goes scot-free holding a party´s flag,"Oli slammed at the government referring to the case of Maoist lawmaker Bal Krishna Dhungel, “It is mockery to the rule of law.”
Mentioning that the present government has failed to serve the interests of the people, Oli said that the present government cannot be considered as a national government. “My party, UML, would not join the government in the present condition though plays constructive roles as an opposition.”
Referring to the Maoists´ failure to conform to the past agreements Oli said, “They are ready to ink deals whenever and whenever needed but never implement them".
Oli said there are two things that the parties should come clear on--first the integration and rehabilitation of the Maoist combatants and second the form of the governance (either presidential or prime ministerial) once the constitution is promulgated.
