KATHMANDU, Dec 17: The police have arrested Bhumi Nanda Devkota, a CPN (Maoist Center ) leader of Gorkha district on the charge of rape.
According to Kathmandu Police Chief SSP Bhupendra Khatri, Devkota was arrested a few days ago based on a complaint lodged at Police Circle, Baneshwar. He is facing charges of rape.

A 17-year-old girl, who used to live in Devkota's house in Pepsicola, filed a complaint against Devkota. It is mentioned in the complaint that he had been raping the girl for a year.
