KATHMANDU, Dec 15: Gorkha Brewery/Carlsberg Group announced a strategic partnership with Khalisisi to launch a nationwide outlet-focused recycling initiative under the theme “Never Leave a Bottle Behind.” 



According to a press release issued on Monday, this initiative aims to ensure that glass bottles are responsibly collected, managed and reintegrated into the circular system.

The press release stated that Khalisisi will work directly with participating bars, restaurants and retail outlets to efficiently collect used glass bottles. The program is designed to support proper waste segregation, streamline recycling logistics and reduce the volume of recoverable glass entering landfills.


The press release further stated that Gorkha Brewery described the partnership as a step toward creating a unified, impact-driven approach to responsible recycling across its commercial network. The company appreciated Khalisisi’s innovative waste-management model and emphasized the importance of shared responsibility.


“This partnership ensures that no bottle is left behind. By empowering outlets with a structured recycling solution, we are strengthening our ESG commitment and contributing to a cleaner, greener Nepal,” the press release quoted Gorkha Brewery as saying.
