KATHMANDU, July 31: Gold and silver prices increased in the domestic market on Friday, according to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers' Association.

The price of fine gold rose by Rs 1,000 per tola to Rs 285,000, up from Rs 284,000 per tola on Thursday.
Silver also recorded a gain of Rs 50 per tola and is being traded at Rs 4,360 per tola, the Federation said.
