KATHMANDU, Jan 20: The price of gold increased by Rs 700 per tola in the Nepali market on Friday.
The price of fine gold rose to Rs 105,200 per tola on Friday from Rs 104,500 per tola on Thursday, according to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers Associations.
The price of standard gold is Rs 104,700 per tola today. It was traded at Rs 104,000 per tola yesterday.
Similarly, the price of silver has also increased by Rs 20 per tola and the metal is being sold at Rs 1,375 per tola. It was traded at Rs 1,355 per tola on Thursday.
The Federation has been setting the daily transaction prices of the precious metals in the domestic market based on their prices in the international market on a daily basis.
