KATHMANDU, March 2: The price of gold increased by Rs 900 per tola on Wednesday.
According to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers’ Association, the price of gold went up by Rs 900 to Rs 98,500 per tola in the domestic market. The yellow metal was traded for Rs 97,600 per tola on Tuesday.

The price of standard gold is Rs 99,000 per tola on Wednesday. Similarly, the price of silver rose by Rs 40 to Rs 1,375 per tola from Rs 1,335 per tola on Tuesday.
The federation has been fixing the price of gold and silver in Nepal in line with the transaction price of the international market.
