KATHMANDU, June 28: The price of gold has surged by Rs 1,000 per tola in the domestic market on Friday.
Fine gold is being traded at Rs 141,800 per tola on Friday. It was sold at Rs 140,800 per tola on Thursday.
Similarly, the price of standard gold has been fixed at Rs 141,100 per tola, marking an uptick from Rs 140,100 per tola on the previous day.
Furthermore, the price of silver has also witnessed an increase by Rs 10 per tola to become Rs 1,790 per tola on Friday.
