KATHMANDU, Dec 19: The price of gold decreased slightly on the first day of the week in the Nepali market. The price decreased by Rs 400 per tola to Rs 93,600 on Sunday. The yellow metal was traded at Rs 94,000 per tola in the domestic market on Friday.
According to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers’ Association, the price of standard gold today is Rs 93,100 per tola. It was Rs 93,500 per tola on Friday.
Similarly, the price of silver today has decreased by Rs 5 per tola to Rs 1,245, the federation said.
Likewise, gold is being traded at around USD 1,798 per ounce in the international market today.
