Gold price drops by Rs 2,600 per tola

The price of gold has decreased by Rs 2,600 per tola in the domestic market on Tuesday.

KATHMANDU, Nov 26: The price of gold has decreased by Rs 2,600 per tola in the domestic market on Tuesday.


According to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers' Associations, the price of gold has been fixed at Rs 148,700 per tola.

On Monday, the price of gold plummeted by a notable Rs 15,900 per tola after the government reduced the tariff to 10 percent from its former 20 percent. Earlier on October 31, the price of gold had reached new all-time highs of Rs 171,000 per tola.


Meanwhile, the price of silver has decreased by Rs 25 per tola. Silver is being traded at Rs 1,820 per tola, down from Rs 1,845 per tola.
