Gold price down to Rs 99,000 per tola

KATHMANDU, May 1: The price of gold decreased to Rs 99,000 per tola (11.66 grams) in the domestic market on Sunday.

According to the Federation of Nepal Gold Silver Dealers’ Association, the precious yellow metal was traded at Rs 99,200 per tola on Friday. Gold price decreased by Rs 200 per tola.

The price of standard gold decreased from Rs 98,700 per tola on Friday to Rs 98,500 per tola on Sunday. Similarly, the price of silver decreased by Rs 20 to Rs 1,300 per tola on Sunday.

Gold is being traded at approximately 1,896 dollar per ounce in the international market today.
