KATHMANDU, Oct 27: The price of gold, which has been rising continuously in the Nepali market since Dashain, has dropped by Rs 600 per tola on Wednesday. The price of gold in the domestic market has been fixed at Rs 92,000 per tola.
The yellow metal was traded at Rs 92,600 per tola on Tuesday. According to the data released by the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers’ Association, Wednesday's price of standard gold is Rs 91,500 per tola, which was Rs 92,100 per tola on Tuesday.
According to the federation, silver price has declined by Rs 15 per tola to Rs 1,250 per tola. Silver was traded at Rs 1,265 per tola on Tuesday. The federation has been fixing the price of gold and silver in Nepal in line with the transaction price of the international market.
