LALITPUR, May 25: The month long chariot pulling festival of Rato Machindranath concluded with the displaying of Bhoto i.e. the jewel-studded traditional Nepali vest at Jawlakhel on Thursday.
The displaying of the Bhoto was held in presence of high-ranking dignitaries and public at Jawalakhel.

Machhindranath is revered as a god of good harvest and prosperity. Paying homage to Lord Machhindranath is believed to bring good luck and fulfill one's wishes.
President Bidhya Devi Bhandari, Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal and other high-ranking dignitaries grace their presence during the program.
The government had provided public holiday inside the Kathmandu valley.
