She is 12-year-old Mamata Kumari Yadav of Sonamai VDC-1. Her mother Nitudevi Yadav has been seriously injured and she has been taken to the Zonal Hospital in Janakpur.
The incident happened as the mother and daughter were digging ochre from under a mound for daubing their house and the mound came crashing on them, police said.
