The girl has been identified as 14-year-old Sushila Bista, the daughter of Thakur Bista of Pauwa, Arje VDC-8.
Sushila who was seriously injured after the accident succumbed to her injuries while being taken to Palpa Mission Hospital.
She had fallen off the cliff while cutting grass on Wednesday evening.
Meanwhile, a 15-year-old boy died after falling off a cliff at Arkhale VDC in the district on Wednesday.
