DARCHULA, Oct 31: A girl died from hornet sting in Darchula district today.

The deceased has been identified as Punam Thagunna, 11, daughter of Harak Singh Thagunna of Mahakali Municipality-7, according to the District Police Office, Darchula.
Police said that the incident took place on Monday night when she was cutting grass near her house. Punam was referred to Pithauragadh of India from the District Hospital, Darchula, and died on the way.
Parbati Thagunna, mother of Punam, was also injured from hornet sting and her condition is normal, according to Hospital. RSS
